由于(yu)(yu)活塞(sai)(sai)體上(shang)(shang)端(duan)的(de)(de)(de)承壓(ya)面(mian)(mian)積(ji)比活塞(sai)(sai)體下端(duan)的(de)(de)(de)承壓(ya)面(mian)(mian)積(ji)減少(shao)了一根(gen)活塞(sai)(sai)桿的(de)(de)(de)面(mian)(mian)積(ji),因(yin)此(ci),密(mi)(mi)封(feng)油壓(ya)力(li)按(an)兩(liang)端(duan)承壓(ya)面(mian)(mian)積(ji)反比例地(di)增(zeng)加(jia),從(cong)而保證密(mi)(mi)封(feng)條件。設(she)計(ji)活塞(sai)(sai)兩(liang)端(duan)承壓(ya)面(mian)(mian)積(ji)之(zhi)比時(shi),應根(gen)據所要求的(de)(de)(de)密(mi)(mi)封(feng)腔與釜內的(de)(de)(de)壓(ya)力(li)差來計(ji)算(suan)。活塞(sai)(sai)桿上(shang)(shang)裝有彈簧,調節(jie)彈簧的(de)(de)(de)壓(ya)縮量,使(shi)(shi)彈簧力(li)正好抵消活塞(sai)(sai)上(shang)(shang)O形圈(quan)對缸壁的(de)(de)(de)摩(mo)擦(ca)力(li),以減少(shao)壓(ya)差計(ji)算(suan)值與實際之(zhi)間(jian)的(de)(de)(de)誤差。此(ci)外,活塞(sai)(sai)升(sheng)降還有指(zhi)示(shi)平(ping)衡罐(guan)中(zhong)液位(wei)的(de)(de)(de)作(zuo)用(yong)。當密(mi)(mi)封(feng)液漏泄(xie)需要補充時(shi),可用(yong)手動泵加(jia)注(zhu)密(mi)(mi)封(feng)液。在使(shi)(shi)用(yong)時(shi)需注(zhu)意活塞(sai)(sai)應經(jing)常處于(yu)(yu)平(ping)衡罐(guan)的(de)(de)(de)下部位(wei)置,使(shi)(shi)活塞(sai)(sai)有向上(shang)(shang)移動的(de)(de)(de)余地(di)。
