為了不讓泵水通過軸與密封間隙泄漏,由出口冷凝泵或在鹽水中的母管引至密封水。給水泵是一種具有一定溫度、高溫的水通過泵軸或泵體金屬容器用貢嘎機械密封將熱量(liang)傳(chuan)(chuan)給軸(zhou)(zhou)承,使(shi)軸(zhou)(zhou)承溫度升(sheng)高。為了控制傳(chuan)(chuan)熱,所以密封(feng)的水也起(qi)到冷卻作用。
貢嘎機械密封直接冷卻就是冷卻液體直接和密封端面接觸達到冷卻的目的。沖洗實際上也是直接冷卻的一種方式,沖洗方式中通過管路連接換熱器將冷卻后的沖洗液引入密封腔進行直接冷卻。還有一種直接冷卻就是在貢嘎機械密封低(di)壓側(大氣)將清水(shui)、蒸汽(qi)等(deng)冷卻(que)流(liu)體(ti)直接引入(ru)密(mi)(mi)封(feng)端(duan)泄露(lu)處(chu)的(de)(de)一(yi)種冷卻(que)方式(shi),也(ye)稱急冷,急冷不僅冷卻(que)*,還(huan)能將密(mi)(mi)封(feng)端(duan)面周圍的(de)(de)雜(za)質及(ji)泄露(lu)液帶走,急冷液其(qi)壓力(li)比密(mi)(mi)封(feng)介質壓力(li)低(di)。急冷液應盡(jin)量采用軟水(shui),以防止水(shui)垢產生破壞密(mi)(mi)封(feng)端(duan)面。當(dang)密(mi)(mi)封(feng)流(liu)體(ti)為易凝(ning)固、易結晶時(shi),可用蒸汽(qi)、溶劑等(deng)防止流(liu)體(ti)凝(ning)結。
